Great news ... the end is in sight

Contente went to the doctor and received the thumbs up. She is now able to ride her bike again. At the current pace of her healing I would hope that her next visit, some time next month, would clear her as all healed.
She will be competing in the Portland Marathon tomorrow. It was a shortened training schedule for her, so finishing healthy is the best goal she has in mind. This run will kick off her training for the 2009 Womens Ironman in Idaho next year. Getting the ok for riding was a big relief, and now I jut hope the cards of Portland will leave her be.
